I stayed at Hawks Cay for four nights in a Queen Room with Two Queen Beds. The location was fantastic, with beautiful beachfront views. Enjoyed the clean pools, especially the adults-only area. The sunset views were stunning from the patio. The room itself was decent, but the bathroom design left much to be desired. The bathroom door was tricky to operate, and there weren’t enough hooks for towels. It made things a bit inconvenient. I was really disappointed with the restaurant service. Long wait times plagued our dining experience, and the food didn’t live up to expectations for the price. The marketplace offered limited food choices. Not ideal, especially when traveling with kids. Housekeeping was inconsistent. I had to ask for daily cleaning. Finally, the staff varied in attentiveness. Some were great, but a few seemed indifferent. Those details left a bit of a sour note on an otherwise enjoyable stay.

The limited access to sandy beach areas could be a downer for guests wanting a true beach resort experience. Lastly, the arranged activities often lack structure, leaving families lacking guidance for the best ways to enjoy their time.

Celebrating our ten-year anniversary, we were delighted by the thoughtful surprise of chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne from the friendly staff. The Lanai Adult King Guestroom with Waterview provided a perfect setting for morning coffee and relaxing days. However, the dining options were severely limited, with only one restaurant open and long wait times that led to frustrating meals. The pool area felt overcrowded, making it challenging to enjoy the amenities as intended.

The pool areas were stunning, and we loved the dolphin presentation! The bonfire pit was a fantastic way to relax at night. We even enjoyed an exciting sandbar excursion where we saw dolphins! The plunge pool in the garden was a fab extra touch to unwind.
